Rusted Rails book by Barry Jones #Rusted Rails

-->
Mr. Jones the writer of the book Rusted Rails gives passion and details of historical times in 1928.
-->
The book is seen through the eyes of Ted Hawkins who is journalist working on the story from the coal miner and the hardship of being a labor and how ones was treated. Mr. Hawkins tells the story of women who is a wife of one of the coal miners who dies in the mine and she is seeking to have an abortion her name is Jenny Hughes. A subject that I think can still be seen today. Jenny Hughes disappears and we start the plot to thicken for the middle Tennessee town where they start the chase for find Mrs. Hughes in the book everyone has an opinion as to how and why Jenny is gone. While you are learning more about Mrs. Hughes the author gives you details of the time and how this era function as a society. We learn that coal miners of today suffer in many of the mines from pneumonia to many forms of lung problems. Mr. Hawkins let’s you learn more about prostitution, the mob and inner works of union of that time.  Later in the book you find that Jenny Hughes went to the brothel house to seek an abortion in that era and this is where she went. We learn of all of the Federal men of that era and Al Capone in the book he leaves you learning and knowing more. You will love the time travel that this book takes you back to and will get lost in the writing of the reporter Ted Hawkins investigative report for Nashville Tennessee.

To me Mr. Jones the writer of this book has done a fine job in time travel for the reader. I found that must of what he said in the book were door ways of time coming back and letting me see how, when and where we got to today as a society and how much we build our lives now.

To me and easy read with details to those times of history being accurate. Well written by the author Mr. Barry Jones.
