BAE: Works and I am glad

Frustration is an understatement to what I felt when the package arrived damaged. I was really hoping to use it right away the reason why I ordered it first before my Google Pixel 2XL arrived.

It was total garbage. Seemed someone tried to open it and there were creases all over the screen protector. I don’t know how they handled it but for me, it was completely useless. The spare one seemed okay so I tried to install it. Another disappointment because it left gaps around the edges. I told myself that I would never ever buy from this company again.

So what I did next was to contact the seller right away, I was even decided to ask for a refund but I told them what happened first and gave them chance to air their side. Their customer service team was so helpful and explained that they have another version on its way that would fit better than the first one. I found it so honest and sincere knowing that they admit that there was a mistake on their part. The replacement came earlier than expected. I thought I would have a hard time getting a replacement but everything went out smoothly.

I was really excited to put it on once again. Followed the instructions carefully and because I was extremely happy with the outcome, I felt compelled to give some insights about IQ Shield’s Google Pixel 2 XL Screen Protector.

-This is a wet install type of screen protector which means that you need to use the spray bottle included to install it. The solution deactivates the adhesive property of the screen protector so you can move it freely to its right position.



-I find this process better than installing sticker type of screen protector. There is no room for error because if ever you placed it incorrectly, you can just simply peel it off, wet it again and start the process from the top.

-What’s good about it is the YouTube Tutorial that’s really helpful for a novice (like me). Installation is not easy. I tell you, it may be little messy and really tedious to do but the outcome, once you do it right, is really fulfilling.



-You have to use all the items included in the kit for a successful installation and wait for it to completely dry before using it again.



-The touch of the screen protector is seamless. It has no delay in responsiveness.

-No Rainbow effects, as what they call it. It’s clear and very transparent.





-After a couple of days using it, I tried to pair it with Spigen Thin Fit Case and surprisingly they are perfect together!

If you decide to purchase this screen protector, you need to have a lot of patience because if you don’t, this might not work for you. But since I mastered the art of waiting, lol this is untroublesome for me. I am super satisfied and I don’t regret getting this screen protector for my Google Pixel 2 XL. It’s a steal!
