Recently, my son had a new baby boy and this was purchased for him. The set is made for a younger child to make sure that they learn the art of eating. The handles of the Baby Feeding Bowls are made of wheat fiber and handle well when washed. The utensil is made in an ergo design for teaching the child the of holding a spoon and fork, the cup to this set holds in place until removed. This is made out of wheat fiber so no need to work on the making of the product. Can use hot or cold. The smell of the product is light and the smell is from the wheat-fragrance and not harmful at all, this washes well in the dishwasher with no problems. Nice set for any child learning the art of eating.
