When you first open this container you will fine granulate of what looks like salt that feels like small rocks in the palm of the hand. Once you apply the granulates to the skin you feel and see the re least of oils that revitalize the skin and leave you with skin that alive and restoring the skin back to life.

In the area that I live in the water is so hard and leaves the skin dry and tight after showing, or bathing. Himalayan Salt Body Scrub works on elbows that are dry, feet, legs, but not the face.
